Daily Shampooing- Must-Do or Major Don’t?

Daily Shampooing: Must-Do or Major Don't?

Many of us have been told that daily shampooing is the key to clean, healthy hair. But is this a golden rule or are we doing potential damage?

Let's chat about it!

While some hair types benefit from frequent washing, daily shampooing can actually strip your scalp of its natural oils. These oils are essential for keeping your hair hydrated and healthy. Over-washing can lead to dryness, frizz, and even scalp irritation.

So, how often should YOU shampoo?

It depends on your hair type and activity level!

Fine Hair: May benefit from daily washing, but use a gentle shampoo and conditioner.

Thick Hair: Can likely go 2-3 days between washes.

Dry Hair: Stick to washing 1-2 times a week with a hydrating formula.

Oily Hair: Can be washed more frequently, but focus on cleansing the scalp, not the ends.

The key is to listen to your hair! If it feels greasy or weighed down, it's probably time for a wash. But if your hair is dry or brittle, you might be shampooing too often.
